Art of Leadership

Photographs of students taken for the marketing campaign.

Recently, I was given the chance to work on a project for Summerville Elementary School called the Art of Leadership. It is a great concept of teaching students the skills of self-reliance, self-discipline and self-confidence taught by Dr. Stephen Covey. The concept, based on the book Leader In Me,  has been introduced into schools around the world with great success. Summerville Elementary will be the first school in South Carolina to implement the program into their curriculum.

The school wants to implement the model next year but principle Lori Dibble and her staff are in the fund-raising mode right now. My wife and I volunteered help them with marketing which included logos/slogans, multimedia presentations and brochures. After a couple of days spent shooting and editing we presented them with a sound slideshow which encompassed our marketing concept for them.

We were excited to work on this project because Chris is very familiar with Dr. Stephen Covey and The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. We are excited as well for the next generation of students who will get the chance to learn these habits.

The school is having success with the fundraising but is always looking for more donors to help them hit their goal by the end of this school year. Visit the Art of Leadership, Leader In Me, Dr. Stephen Covey and The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People to learn more about the program and how you can help.

As posted on the school website — We hope you are as excited about this leadership model as we are. If you are interested in supporting these efforts, please contact Shannon Raglin at 873-2372.

Now is the time to Make a Difference!

Every time I come to paulzoeller.com you have another interesting article up to read. One of my friends was telling me about this topic a few weeks ago, so I think I’ll e-mail them the link here and see what they say.
